There was never a doubt in my mind. | You scored as The Amazing Spider-Man. After being bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker was transformed from a nerdy high school student into New York's greatest hero. Peter enjoys the thrill of being a super hero, but he struggles with the burdens of leading a double life. He hopes someday to win the heart of his true love Mary Jane, the woman he's loved since before he even liked girls. Right now, he just wants to make it through college and pay his bills.

This is no joke I know it's 3AM, and I am hosting a study group meeting tomorrow, but I wanted to share with you something. I just spent the last few hours researching something I feel is not getting enough attention. This is not meant to worry you, but merely show you some facts (including that I am a massive procrastinator).
That is all... goodnight. |

Hey, what's up world? This is a quick summer update on my latest and greatest achievement. I have purchased my brother a college computer at what I consider to be a decent deal. The stats and price are in this lj cut.
( Dell Deal )
In other news... rumor has it that 4 homes down from me and across the street, Tony Danza will be moving in. Incase you don't know who he is, he does a day time talk show followed by Regis and Kelly Rippa's show (Rippa lives in town too). I finished my Managerial Accounting class at Willy P University and wound up with an A- (which won't be counted towards my GPA.) I currently am taking a 2nd course at Bergen Community College, which Bio 101. Should be a piece of cake given that I actually try. Also... I am spending my free time working on a new website which will have every picture ever taken with my camera plus more. It should be finished by the end of the summer (after I arrange the pics in the proper order and add captions). If ya wanna see just the pics tho, I finished putting them up. The site is below, and make sure to add it to favorites since I will update it regularly... like every week!

College is looking good right now. I've been going to the gym regularly to get jacked and hopefully will maintain my shape throughout the year, so long as Sodexho doesn't make me put on 15 pounds again. Ok, enough of this web logging, I need sleep and to concentrate on reality. Goodbye. Current Mood: Focused/DeterminedCurrent Music: Rocky IV: Training Montage |

Ok... it's that time... time for me to write a blog entry for the whole world to read. I can't really talk long since tomorrow is Easter Sunday and I am going to church at 9AM.. so that means leaving for it at 8:30... so that means being awake by 7:30. So let's start off with my question of debate. The Dell 9200 notebook. It's a 17inch widescreen screen that has a retail of ~$1700 and a normal selling price of ~1200. However, I managed to get mine the other week for only $999. At first I thought it was a smart investment thinking about next years wireless program around the college campus and that the chances were against me for getting housing. However, I made it and am wondering if now I should have held off. I can still return it, but will charge me a $50 restocking fee + shipping. Oh well, maybe one of you out there can help me decide. Here are the specs. Also, still gotta buy a case (another $50.) Inspiron 9200, Pentium M 725 (1.60GHz) 17" UltraSharp Wide Screen XGA+ Display for Inspiron 9200 512MB DDR 333MHZ 2 DIMMS 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 40GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive (5400 rpm) 64MB USB Memory Key Microsoft Windows XP Home Service Pack 2 24X CD-RW/DVD Dell Wireless 1350 Internal Wireless (802.11b/g, 54Mbps) 53 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery, for Inspiron 9200 Leave a comment on how to cut, and I'll repost this immediately. |

Here is my seasonal update... brought to you by Mike S who bugs me weekly for more entries. Thought I'd share my feelings about first semester of sophomore year being over, and of course... a list of my new assets. First semester was as much fun as it could ever have been. I enjoyed living in a double suite even though it was actually handicap which meant each room was built for only one person. Got to have a lot of good times ordering out chinese chicken and cashew nuts, planning floor events like getting a private room in Hooters for Pat's birthday, and epic adventures of cleaning the bathroom. Classes went well, and next semster I have somehow managed to co-incidentally end up in a class with Serena... sure it's a nursing course, and recommmends a background in some sorta life sciences... but all that matters is I am being educated (with Serena). My current career outlook is graduating with a degree in marketing, minor in international business, and MAYBE a certificate in finance. This will make me look lusterous to all drug companies, yet I don't know if that's the best choice in tomorrow's world. Probably will end up somewhere in health services though.... And now for the part you've all been waiting for... what I got from the big fat man with the long white beard: -Ipod Mini -Ipod Mini Case -Tripod for my digital camera -Logitech MX1000 -About half a dozen shirts -Star Wars DVD bundle -Spiderman 2 DVD -SWKOTOR 2 -Half-Life 2 -SW Battlefront -Professional Resume Software -Popcorn Tin -Aftershave -Gum -2 Gap hats and a lot of lottery scratchers in my stocking Until Spring Time... |

Summer Update For quite a while I have heard talk regarding the organization "Freedom Alliance", but didn't know much about it. So, a week ago I came across their website while surfing the web, and started reading the org's values. It interested me to learn it was started by a former Lt. Col. of the United States Army. The org details America's sacrafices in past and current conflicts in order to secure our freedom. One of its big charities are donations for the families of those killed in Iraq. Not that I am oblivious to the countless other groups which also exist doing such deeds, but I found Freedom Alliance's point of view (from a veteran) to be of my likeing. Anyways... check it out at www.freedomalliance.org In other news, we head back to college in 2 1/2 weeks. Seeing what the final model of the soph year floor looks like is getting me anxious. I'll be on a tight schedule since I'm leaving the 22nd to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas for 5 days. Gives me two days to make the last preparations. Who knows... if there is a tropical disturbance of some sort, I may be stuck in the carribean & late for college . A shame... yes I know. Just bought a nice digital camera to chroniclize all of next year (so expect lots of pictures). Also, just before I finish my seasonal update, I must mention Serena. We are now dating over 6 months and just had an awesome week at the shore together. I'll be putting up a website soon of all the pics so look for a link to it in my profile. Alright, that's more than enough for one season... See ya all Sophomore year |

Last Day of Freshman Year Classes
I am certainly not alone when saying how time has flown by. Seems like only yesterday it was a sweltering Thursday and I had just arrived at college. Everyone on the floor was strange to each other. The only thing we could count on happening throughout the year was change. Well, not even a few hours after saying goodbye to my parents, the college excitement had begun. You could see the sudden high people were on from unprecedented independence. I was one of those who was so caught up in what lied down my path of fate, I didn't have time to ponder the past. Change was no longer something that happened at set points. Change was constant... my life turned from a quiet pond into a fast moving river (with the occasional repaids). Well, now it's the end of the year. In one week I'll be taking finals and packing bags. Home will cause time to slow down again... thus creating a dam in my life. At the same time however, I am hoping for sophomore year to be even better than freshman. Looking back up the river, I realize it's not about how much time was spent traveling down it... but rather how far one has come. |
